'Art built into the environment is there for the benefit of the public in general, and in particular that of the community who live and work in the immediate locality'.

Community-based Public Art Projects by Monkey Business

Monkey Business is a creative partnership that was formed in 1998 with artist Ann Gilligan to undertake larger community-based public art projects. It can now boast a varied portfolio of temporary and permanent public art works, from Fantasy Vehicles for a Royal Exchange Theatre Production, to hand-carved bricks for the grounds of a Cheetham Hill primary school.
